What is Rapping?
Rapping is a fun and exciting way of talking over music. It is part of hip-hop music and is very popular around the world. Rappers use rhyme and rhythm to speak words that go with the beat. They may also change their voice to make it sound interesting.
Where Did Rapping Start?
Rapping began in the Bronx, New York City, in the early 1970s. It grew from parties where people would talk and have fun over music. Over time, it became a special part of African-American culture. Rappers often use a DJ, turntablist, or beatboxer to create the music they rap over.
Why Do People Love Rapping?
Rapping is loved because it lets people express themselves in a creative way. Rappers can talk about many things, like having fun, love, or important ideas. Some rappers even make up their words right then and there, which is called freestyle rap.
Many famous rappers have become well-known, like 50 Cent and Nicki Minaj. Rapping has also influenced fashion, movies, and even how some people talk. It continues to be a fun and powerful part of music today.
