Ruvubu National Park
Ruvubu National Park is a big, beautiful place in Burundi. It was started in 1980 and covers a huge area of 508 square kilometers. The park is named after the Ruvubu River that runs through it.
The park is found in four provinces: Karuzi, Muyinga, Cankuzo, and Ruyigi. It even touches the country of Tanzania to the south!
Ruvubu National Park is a special home for many wild animals. You can find hippopotamus, Nile crocodile, and Cape buffalo in its waters and grasslands. There are also many types of monkeys and birds living there, making it a wonderful place for nature lovers.
