Sacramento International Airport
Sacramento International Airport is a big airport in Sacramento, California. It is the main place for people to fly from in the Sacramento Metropolitan Area. The airport is run by the Sacramento County Airport System.
The airport is about 10.5 miles from Downtown Sacramento and covers a huge area of 6,000 acres. It has two big runways where planes take off and land. The airport has two terminals with many gates for airplanes to park.
People can visit many fun places near the airport. You can trip to Lake Tahoe for sunny days, Yosemite National Park for nature, and the California State Capitol to learn about history. The airport also has free wireless Internet for everyone to use.
Sacramento International Airport started in 1967 and has grown a lot over the years. It welcome many travelers every year and has plans to build even more in the future. The airport is a busy place where people from all over come to start their adventures.
