Saltimbocca is a yummy meal from Italy. It is also enjoyed in the south of Switzerland. This dish is made with thin pieces of veal. These pieces are wrapped in prosciutto and a leaf of sage.

The most famous way to make saltimbocca is called saltimbocca alla romana, which means β€œRoman-style saltimbocca.” The wrapped pieces are cooked in white wine and butter. Sometimes, another kind of wine called Marsala is used.

In America, some people use chicken or pork instead of veal to make a different version of this tasty dish. No matter how it is made, saltimbocca is loved by many for its delicious flavor.
