The Amazing Arch of Taq Kasra

Taq Kasra is a very old and special arch near the town of Salman Pak in Iraq. It was once part of a huge palace from a long time ago, when a big empire called the Sasanian Empire ruled the land.

The arch is very strong and tall. It is made of brickwork and is one of the biggest arches in the whole world! People from many places visit Taq Kasra to learn about old building tricks and see how clever ancient builders were.

Many important people have visited Taq Kasra over the years. Artists, writers, and even movie makers have come to see this wonderful old structure. Even though it has had some trouble and parts have fallen down, people still care for it and want to keep it safe for everyone to enjoy.
