The University of Rijeka

The University of Rijeka is a special place where students go to learn and study. It is in the beautiful city of Rijeka, in Croatia. Many students come here to join different schools called faculties.

There are eleven faculties at the University of Rijeka. These schools are not only in Rijeka but also in nearby places like Primorje, Istria, and Lika. Students can study many things here, like art, engineering, economics, and even how to be a teacher!

The university has a special place called the Student Centre Rijeka. This is where students can meet friends and take part in fun activities. There are also libraries where they can read books and do research.

The University of Rijeka began in 1973, but people have been learning in Rijeka since much earlier times. Long ago, in 1627, a school was started by the Jesuits. This school was as important as schools in big cities of the Austrian Empire.

Today, the university is a big and important place for education. Students from all over come to learn and make friends. They study many subjects and take part in exciting projects. The university helps students grow and prepare for their future.
