Prince William of Wales
Prince William of Wales, whose full name is William Arthur Philip Louis, is a special member of the British royal family. He was born on June 21, 1982, in London. William is the oldest son of King Charles III and the late Diana, Princess of Wales. Because he is the oldest son of the king, he is known as the heir apparent, meaning he might become king one day.
William grew up with his younger brother, Prince Harry, in places like Kensington Palace in London and Highgrove House in Gloucestershire. His mother, Diana, took care of him and often took William and Harry to fun places like Walt Disney World and McDonald's. Sadly, Diana passed away when William was young.
William went to private schools, including Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. After school, he studied geography at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. It was there that he met his future wife, Catherine Middleton. They got married in 2011 and have three children: George, Charlotte, and Louis.
William has helped many charities and important causes. He started a project called the Earthshot Prize to find new ways to help our planet. He also supports teams that help people in need, like those who are homeless or who work in emergencies. William enjoys playing sports and uses them to raise money for good causes.
As Prince of Wales, William visits many places and meets people to support friendly relations between countries. He has traveled to many nations, including Canada, Australia, and Pakistan, to help build friendships and talk about important issues like taking care of our planet and helping people learn.
William is known for being kind and hardworking. People like him because he focuses on helping others and supporting families. He and Catherine try to keep their family life private while still doing important work for the country.
