Yellowstone National Park is a wonderful place to explore! It is located in the northwest part of Wyoming, with parts also in Montana and Idaho. It became the very first national park in the world on March 1, 1872, when President Ulysses S. Grant signed a law to protect it.

One of the most famous spots in Yellowstone is Old Faithful, a geyser that shoots water up into the air regularly. Visitors love watching this amazing natural show! The park is also home to many animals, including grizzly bears, wolves, and large herds of bison and elk.

The park covers a huge area of 3,468.4 square miles, with beautiful lakes, rivers, and mountains. Yellowstone Lake is the largest lake in the park and sits on top of a giant super volcano called the Yellowstone Caldera. Though this volcano has erupted powerfully in the past, it is now quiet.

People have lived in the Yellowstone area for thousands of years. Today, visitors can enjoy many activities such as hiking, camping, and exploring the beautiful geysers. Every year, people from all over the world come to see the wild nature and learn about the Earth’s amazing forces.

The park has many forests, meadows, and special stone formations. It is a place where nature lovers and curious explorers can discover the beauty of the wild and the power of our planet. Whether you spot an animal, watch a geyser, or walk through a forest, Yellowstone offers unforgettable adventures for everyone!
