Birds of Prey

Birds of prey, also called raptors, are amazing birds that live all around the world. They have very sharp eyesight to see far away and strong feet with sharp claws called talons. These birds can catch small animals and other birds to eat.

There are many kinds of birds of prey. Some, like eagles, are very big and strong. Others, like falcons and kestrels, are smaller and can fly very fast. Owls are special because they hunt at night and can see very well in the dark. Vultures are different because they eat animals that have already passed away.
