Eagles
Eagles are large and amazing birds of prey. They are part of the Accipitridae family. Many people know the bald eagle of North America. It is a very special bird.
There are about 68 different species of eagles. Most live in Eurasia and Africa, but you can also find them in South America and Australia. Eagles are important for nature. They help keep the numbers of other animals balanced.
Eagles have strong bodies, sharp eyes, and powerful claws. They can see far away and spot food. Eagles build big nests called eyries in tall trees or on high cliffs. They lay eggs and take care of their young there.
People around the world love eagles. They appear in stories, symbols, and emblems. Eagles stand for strength and power in many places.
