Bolivia is a wonderful country in the middle of South America. It is surrounded by many interesting places like Brazil, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Paraguay. Bolivia has many different kinds of land, from high mountains to big forests.

Beautiful Lands

Bolivia has some of the most amazing places to see. In the west, you can find snowy mountains and high plateaus. In the east, there are huge rainforests and wide plains. One special mountain is Nevado Sajama, the highest peak in Bolivia. The Amazon rainforest also reaches into Bolivia, where animals like monkeys and birds live.

Rich Culture

Bolivia is home to many different people with rich traditions. The country speaks many languages, including Spanish, Guaraní, Aymara, and Quechua. People celebrate colorful festivals, like the Carnaval de Oruro, where dancers wear bright costumes and perform exciting dances.

  • Bolivia does not have an ocean, but it has a navy! The country still has a small navy to honor its history.
  • The biggest city is Santa Cruz de la Sierra, but the government works from La Paz.
