Ancient Egyptian math is the way people in Ancient Egypt solved numbers and shapes a very long time ago. They used math to count, build, and measure things. This helped them make amazing buildings like temples and tombs.

The Egyptians had special ways to work with numbers. They loved to use multiplication and fractions. Fractions were a bit different from today. They often used parts like 1/2 or 1/3 to add up to other numbers.

We learn about their math from old papers called papyrus. Two big papers are the Moscow Mathematical Papyrus and the Rhind Mathematical Papyrus. These papers have puzzles and answers written down. They show that Egyptians knew about geometry, like how to find the size of shapes. This helped them design big stone buildings.

People remember Ancient Egyptian math because it was smart and useful. It shows how clever they were when they built wonderful places so many years ago.
