The name Pakistan was created in 1933 by a man named Choudhry Rahmat Ali. He used letters from the names of five lands to make the word: Panjab, Afghania, Kashmir, Sindh, and Baluchistan. It means "the land of the pure" in Urdu and other languages.

Amazing Places

Pakistan has many different landscapes. In the north, there are tall mountains, including the Karakoram range. One of these mountains, K2, is one of the highest in the world! In the south, there are wide flat areas and big cities. The Indus River flows through the country and helps people grow food.

Pakistan also has beautiful deserts, forests, and beaches. Some places are very hot, while others are cool and windy. No matter where you go, there is always something new to see!
