A Little History
Long ago, Zambia was home to many different groups of people. One of the earliest groups was the Khoisan people. Later, other groups, called the Bantu, came and settled in the area. They brought new ways of farming and made tools from iron. Over time, many kingdoms grew, like the Luba Kingdom and the Maravi Empire. These kingdoms traded with faraway places and had rich cultures.
