About 16 million people call Zimbabwe home. The two biggest groups are the Shona people and the Northern Ndebele. Together, they speak 16 different languages! English, Shona, and Ndebele are the most common. People in Zimbabwe love to share their traditions, stories, and art.

Old and New Stories

Long ago, people called the San people lived in Zimbabwe. They painted beautiful pictures on cave walls. Later, the Shona built big stone buildings like Great Zimbabwe. These buildings were important for trading and showed how clever the people were.
