Beijing Institute of Technology Gymnasium

The Beijing Institute of Technology Gymnasium is a large indoor arena. It can hold up to 5,000 people. It is located on the campus of the Beijing Institute of Technology in Beijing, China.
This special building was used for important sporting events. During the 2008 Summer Olympics, it hosted the volleyball competitions. Athletes from around the world competed there. Later, at the 2008 Summer Paralympics, the same arena was used for the goalball competition. Goalball is a sport for athletes with visual impairments.
The gymnasium remains an important part of the campus and a memory of those exciting Olympic games.
