KCCI Tower

The KCCI Tower is a very tall structure used for sending out television signals. It stands at 609.6 metres (2,000 feet) and is located near Alleman, Iowa in the United States. The tower was built in 1974 and helps share the digital signal for KCCI, a local TV station.
Nearby, there are other towers used by TV and radio stations in the Des Moines area. KCCI is part of Hearst Television, a company owned by the Hearst Corporation. The tall tower helps make sure people in the area can watch their favorite shows and news.
