A beautiful view of the villages Vex and Les Agettes in the Swiss Alps.

Les Agettes was a small place in the district of Hérens in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It had its own local government and community.

In 2017, Les Agettes joined with another place to become part of the larger city of Sion. This kind of change sometimes happens when smaller towns grow closer and decide to work together as one community.

Even though it is no longer its own municipality, Les Agettes remains an important part of the history and culture of the region. People who live there still have strong ties to their community and its traditions.
