Noida began as around 81 villages. Today, it is part of the Gautam Buddh Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh.

These villages in Noida do not yet have permanent postal addresses. Officials plan to change this. They will use special drones from the North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR) to take pictures from the air. This will help give each house a proper address. Making these maps will take about a year. After that, it will be easier to share information about land rights and development plans. The maps will also help solve land problems and make land transfers easier.
