The Pčinja District (Serbian: Пчињски округ, romanized: Pčinjski okrug, pronounced ) is one of the districts of Serbia. It is in the southernmost part of the country. The main city and administrative center of the Pčinja District is Vranje. This district helps make Serbia a diverse and interesting place to learn about.

History

The Pčinja District, like other areas in Serbia, became an official region in 1992. This happened when leaders of Serbia made a new rule to organize the country into different areas to help manage it better.
