Slavoj Žižek

Slavoj Žižek (born 21 March 1949) is a Slovenian neo-Marxist philosopher, cultural theorist and public intellectual. He is known for his special way of talking about big ideas in philosophy, culture, and politics.

Žižek works at several universities, including New York University, the European Graduate School, and the University of Ljubljana. He has also been a leader at the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities at the University of London.
