At.mosphere is a special restaurant located on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It holds the record as the world's highest restaurant, standing at an amazing height of 441.3 meters (1,447 feet) above the ground.
This unique dining spot offers amazing views and a special experience for visitors. The restaurant is led by head chef Yannis Sgard, who comes from Paris. Dining at At.mosphere gives people a chance to enjoy delicious food while being very high up in the sky.
History
At.mosphere opened its doors on January 23, 2011. It features a bar, lounge, and restaurant area. On August 11, 2022, the restaurant closed for six months for renovations and reopened in February the following year with a refreshed interior. In 2011, it was recognized by Guinness World Records as the highest restaurant from the ground level.
The restaurant has earned many awards and praise. It received a recommendation in the 2024 edition of the Michelin Guide Dubai, the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence in 2014 and 2024, the Time Out Dubai Best Romantic Restaurant award in 2022, and the World Culinary Awards' World's Best Landmark Restaurant award in 2023.
