Balticinidae is a special group of animals known as corals. These corals belong to a larger family called Pennatuloidea. Scientists study them to learn more about ocean life and how these creatures grow and live together underwater.

One main group within Balticinidae is called Balticina, which was named by a scientist named Gray in the year 1870. These corals are part of the beautiful and important world of sea life that helps keep our oceans healthy.
