Brant Foundation

The Brant Foundation Art Study Center is a special place where people can see beautiful modern and contemporary art. It has two main locations: one in New York City and another in nearby Greenwich, Connecticut. The art shown there is owned by a person named Peter Brant.
Visitors can see the art, but they need to book their visit ahead of time. The foundation works to share art with the public and help people learn more about modern and contemporary pieces. It is a private collection, but open to anyone who makes a reservation.
East Village gallery
The Brant Foundation has a museum in the East Village area of Manhattan. It opened in 2019 at 421 East 6th Street. This building used to be a power station before it became an art space. An artist named Walter De Maria worked there, and later Peter Brant bought the building.
Greenwich
The Brant Foundation Art Study Center opened in Greenwich, CT on May 9, 2009. It is located in a beautiful old stone barn that was turned into a big gallery and learning place by architect Richard Gluckman. The center shows art for a long time to help people learn to love modern and new art. People can visit by booking ahead.
In 2010, the center showed art by Urs Fischer, and in 2011, it showed paintings by Josh Smith. The center works to share art with everyone who wants to see it.
