Chile at the 2014 Winter Olympics
Adapted from Wikipedia · Discoverer experience
Chile competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, from February 7 to February 23. The team had six athletes who took part in three different winter sports. This was twice as many athletes as Chile sent to the Winter Olympics four years earlier.
These Games were special because it was the first time a Chilean team competed in Russia. Many years before, in 1980, Chile and many other countries did not go to the Summer Olympics in Moscow. This was because of a big problem called the Soviet–Afghan War.
