Croatia took part in the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi, Russia, from February 7 to February 23, 2014. Cross-country skiing

Croatia had two athletes ready to race in cross-country skiing at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. This was special because, for the first time since the 2006 Winter Olympics, Croatia qualified athletes who could compete in more than one event. Vedrana Malec was the only female skier from Croatia who met the needed standards, and the men's spot was chosen between Edi Dadić and Andrej Burić. The team was announced on January 24.

Snowboarding

Croatia got a chance to compete in women's halfpipe snowboarding for the first time at the Olympics. This spot was given to them on January 24, and they had one athlete representing the country in this event.

Sports without participation by Croatia

Croatia did not take part in several winter sports at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Even though they won a bronze medal in biathlon at the 2010 Winter Olympics, they did not qualify for biathlon in 2014. Jakov Fak, who won the bronze medal in 2010, competed for Slovenia instead of Croatia.

Croatia also did not qualify for the bobsleigh events, which was the first time since the 1998 Winter Olympics that they missed out on bobsleigh.

Josip Gluhak tried to qualify for the figure skating events but did not succeed. Croatia had not competed in figure skating since the 2006 Winter Olympics.
