Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries department, Punjab

The department follows rules set by the Forest Act from 1927, which was updated in 2010.

Wildlife Department

The Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department started in 1934 as the Game Department. Its job is to take care of wildlife, protect animals and plants, and help keep their homes safe.

The department follows rules set by the Punjab wildlife Protection, Preservation, Conservation & Management Act, 1974.
