Guinea-Bissau at the Olympics

Adapted from Wikipedia ยท Discoverer experience

Guinea-Bissau has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Olympic Games since 1996, but the nation has never won an Olympic medal. The National Olympic Committee was created in 1992 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1995. In 2026, Guinea-Bissau competed at the Winter Olympic Games for the first time. This shows the country's growing participation in the Olympic movement and its support for athletes in many sports.
