The Hotel Belleclaire (also called the Belleclaire Hotel) is a famous building located at 2175 Broadway where it meets West 77th Street, in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. It was built between 1901 and 1903 and was one of the first big buildings designed by the architect Emery Roth. The hotel mixes styles from Art Nouveau and Secession, and it is officially recognized as a New York City designated landmark.

Standing ten stories tall, the hotel has a beautiful exterior made mostly of red brick, with decorations of limestone, metal, and terracotta. It features a special curved corner that faces both Broadway and 77th Street, and a unique two-story mansard roof with arches. Over the years, the hotel has gone through many changes. Originally, it was an upscale place to live, with many small apartments. Today, it has been turned into a cozy boutique hotel with 262 guest rooms, carefully looked after by Triumph Hotels since 1999.

The Belleclaire Hotel is located at 2175 Broadway on the corner of 77th Street, in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. It sits at the end of a city block bordered by Broadway, 77th Street, West End Avenue, and 76th Street. Before the area was settled by Europeans, it was part of the hunting grounds of the Wecquaesgeek Native American tribe. Later, it became part of land owned by settlers after the British established the Province of New York. Development in the area began in the late 1890s when builders started constructing large apartment buildings.

The hotel covers a land area of 13,574 ft2 (1,261.1 m2). It has a frontage of 105.5 feet (32.2 m) on Broadway and 119.1 feet (36.3 m) on 77th Street, stretching 146 feet (45 m) along its southern side. Nearby landmarks include the Astor, the West End Collegiate Church, the Collegiate School, and the Apthorp.

The Hotel Belleclaire was one of the first buildings designed by architect Emery Roth. It shows styles from Art Nouveau and Secession, which were different from other buildings nearby that used the Beaux-Arts style.

The Belleclaire is 10 stories tall and was considered an early skyscraper when it was built in 1903. The building has red brick with decorations made of limestone, metal, and terracotta. Inside, the original design included special rooms like a women’s dining room, a palm room, and a library. Today, the lobby has been restored and includes wood-paneled walls and a glass skylight. The hotel now has 262 rooms, many keeping some of their original design features.
