Kophobelemnidae
Adapted from Wikipedia · Discoverer experience
Kophobelemnidae is a special group of animals called corals. These corals belong to a bigger family known as Pennatulacea. Scientists have found and named three main types, or genera, in this group. The first type is called Kophobelemnon, which was named in 1856. The second is Malacobelemnon, named in 1965. The third is Sclerobelemnon, named in 1872. These corals are interesting to scientists because they help us learn more about life under the sea.
