Les Agettes
Adapted from Wikipedia · Discoverer experience
Les Agettes was a small place in the district of Hérens in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It was its own municipality, which means it had its own local government and community.
In 2017, Les Agettes joined together with another place to become part of the larger city of Sion. This kind of change sometimes happens when smaller towns grow closer and decide to work together as one community.
Even though it is no longer its own municipality, Les Agettes remains an important part of the history and culture of the region. People who live there still have strong ties to their community and its traditions.
