Panamá District

Panamá is a district in Panamá Province in Panama. It had a population of 880,691 people in 2010, and more recent estimates from 2019 suggest the population grew to about 1,183,333. The district covers a large area of 2,031 km2.
The main city in the district is Panama City, which serves as the district seat and is an important center for the country. This area plays a key role in Panama’s history, culture, and economy.

Panamá District is split into different areas called corregimientos.
