Peru at the 2014 Winter Olympics

Peru took part in the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi, Russia, from February 7 to February 23, 2014. This was a special event where athletes from many countries came together to compete in snowy and icy sports. Peru sent three athletes to compete in two different sports during these games. Interestingly, these same three athletes had also represented Peru at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, showing their dedication to winter sports even though Peru is known for its warm climate. Their participation helped showcase the Olympic spirit and brought attention to athletes from all around the world.

Cross-country skiing

Peru had one athlete ready for the cross-country skiing events at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Despite an injury, the athlete chose to compete. He finished the race in last place, about 30 minutes behind the winner from Switzerland.
