Ruvubu National Park is a national park in Burundi covering 508 km² (196 mi²) that was established in 1980. It is located in the provinces of Karuzi, Muyinga, Cankuzo and Ruyigi, and it touches neighboring Tanzania to the south. The park gets its name from the Ruvubu River, which runs through it.
The park is the last remaining natural grassland ecosystem in the northeast part of Burundi. It is home to many wildlife species, including hippopotamus, Nile crocodile, Cape buffalo, waterbuck, and several types of duiker. There are also five primate species, such as olive baboon, vervet monkey, red colobus monkey, blue monkey, and Senegal bushbaby. About 200 bird species have been recorded in the park.
