On the women's side, Eva Gysling competed in the 50m and 100m backstroke events but did not advance past the heats. Nathalie Wunderlich participated in the 100m and 200m backstroke as well as the 200m individual medley. She reached the B-Final in the 200m backstroke, finishing 16th.
