The Val Badia (English: Badia Valley) is a beautiful valley in South Tyrol, Italy. It is home to the Gran Ega river and stretches from the Sella massif up north to the Puster Valley. The villages in Val Badia are mostly spoken by people who speak the Ladin language. These villages belong to the municipalities of Badia, Corvara, La Val, Mareo and San Martin de Tor.

The upper part of the valley, from the village San Linêrt to Badia, Corvara and La Val, is known in German as Abteital. This area is famous as the ski resort called Alta Badia. The valley is surrounded by stunning peaks like Conturines, Piza Scotoni and Piza Fanes de Medo.
