The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art is a fun place to see modern and current art. It is in the El Raval neighborhood, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

The museum opened in 1995 after the 1992 Summer Olympics. Today, it is led by its director, Elvira Dyangani Ose. MACBA helps show modern and current art to people of all ages.

The building is in a special square called Plaça dels Àngels. It is a big white building that lets in lots of natural light. It has three big galleries and five smaller ones.

People can visit the Study Center to read books and see special collections for free. The museum also makes books and has online magazines to help people learn more. There are talks, classes, tours, and movie showings too.
