Beach Soccer

Beach soccer is a fun and exciting way to play soccer on the sand. Instead of a big grass field, the game is played on a beach. Each team has five players, and they get to play barefoot!

People have enjoyed playing soccer on beaches for a very long time. In 1992, special rules were made for beach soccer by a group called Beach Soccer Worldwide. Now, big tournaments happen all around the world.

The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup happens every two years. Teams from many countries come together to compete. The first men's World Cup was in 1995, and women started playing in 2009.

Beach soccer is fast and full of action. The field is smaller than a regular soccer field, and the goals are smaller too. Players can change as many times as they want, and the game has three parts instead of two.

Some famous places to watch beach soccer include Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Los Angeles in the United States, and Miami Beach in Florida. Today, beach soccer is enjoyed by people of all ages, from kids to grown-ups, in many countries around the world.
