Bone meal
Adapted from Wikipedia ยท Explorer experience
Bone meal is a special mix made from ground animal bones. It helps both animals and plants stay healthy and strong.
One way people use bone meal is to give animals important nutrients like calcium and phosphorus. These nutrients help animals grow big and stay healthy.
Bone meal is also great for plants! When added to soil, it gives plants phosphorus and calcium. This helps plants grow better over a long time. It works best in soil that is a little acidic.
Many years ago, a smart scientist named Justus von Liebig thought of using bone meal. A farmer in Britain was the first to try this idea. Before that, farmers used bones from old battlefields, like the Battle of Waterloo and the Battle of Austerlitz, to help their soil.
