Brahma

Brahma is a special god in Hinduism. People say he helped make the whole world! He is one of three very important gods, called the Trimurti. The other two are Vishnu and Shiva.

Brahma is often shown with four faces and four arms. Each face looks in a different direction, and each arm holds something important, like the holy books called the Vedas. He usually sits on a pretty flower called a lotus, and his special animal friend is a swan named hamsa.

There are only a few places where people still honor Brahma today. The most famous is the Brahma Temple, Pushkar in Rajasthan. Some other countries, like Thailand, also have places where people show respect to Brahma, such as the Erawan Shrine in Bangkok.

Even though not many people worship Brahma now, he is remembered in old stories and books. He is an important part of Hindu traditions and teachings.
