Cameron Highlands
Cameron Highlands is a beautiful, cool place in Malaysia. It is located in the state of Pahang, close to Kelantan and Perak. This area is special because it is very high up in the mountains, with some parts reaching over 1,500 metres above sea level.
People first discovered Cameron Highlands in 1885, thanks to a Scottish explorer named William Cameron. He thought it would be a great place to build and grow things. Today, it is famous for its cool weather, tea farms, and many green spaces.
Visitors love to explore the tea estates, visit lovely waterfalls, and walk through mossy forests. There are also farms where you can see fruits, flowers, and vegetables grow. Cameron Highlands has many places to stay, from small hotels to big resorts. One popular spot is Tanah Rata, the main town.
The area is also home to many different plants and animals, making it a wonderful place for nature lovers. You can enjoy quiet walks, see beautiful views, and learn about the local culture. Cameron Highlands is one of the oldest and most famous hill stations in Peninsular Malaysia, and it is the highest place you can drive to in the country.
