Chalkidiki has sunny beaches, charming villages, and rich history. The largest town is Nea Moudania, and the capital is Polygyros. Each year, many visitors come to enjoy the natural beauty and fun activities.

A Special Shape

Chalkidiki looks like a hand with three "fingers". These are Kassandra, Sithonia, and Mount Athos. Mount Athos is special because it has many monasteries where monks live.
