Chandrayaan-3

Chandrayaan-3 is a special space mission from India. It was made by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). This mission has two main parts: a lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan. Together, they explore the Moon.

The mission started on July 14, 2023. It was launched from Sriharikota, a place in India where rockets take off. The spacecraft traveled for many days before it landed near the lunar south pole on August 23, 2023. This was very exciting because ISRO became the fourth space team to land on the Moon. They were the first to land near the lunar south pole, a place that is very important for future Moon trips.

Vikram and Pragyan worked together to learn about the Moon. They studied the surface and sent information back to Earth. Even though they could only work for a short time, they helped scientists discover new things about our beautiful Moon.
