Citi Bike is a fun way for people in New York City to ride around on bicycles. It started in 2013 and has grown to have many bikes and stations. Today, you can find Citi Bikes in places like the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, as well as in Jersey City, New Jersey and Hoboken, New Jersey.

The idea for Citi Bike came from the New York City Department of Transportation. They wanted to help people get around without using cars, which helps keep the air cleaner. Citi Bike was named after Citigroup, the company that helped start the program.

Riding a Citi Bike is easy and quick. Members can ride for up to 45 minutes without extra cost. There are also day passes and single rides for people who just want to try it out. Citi Bike even has special electric bikes that can help you pedal easier.

Citi Bike has become very popular. In the first year, there were millions of rides, and now there are even more. People enjoy using Citi Bike to go to work, school, or just for fun rides around the city. It’s a great way to see New York City and stay active!
