What is Design?

Design is a special idea or plan that helps people make things. It can be a drawing, a plan, or even a way to do something new. When we design something, we think about how it should look and how it should work.

Why Do We Design?

Design is very important because it helps us make things that are useful, nice to look at, and easy to use. For example, designers make plans for buildings, machines, and even clothes. They think about how everything will fit together and feel good to use.

Fun Fact About Design

Did you know that even simple things like a wall clock need good design? Designers think about how the clock will look on a wall and how easy it is to read the time. Design helps make our world better and more fun to use!
