Queen Elizabeth II
Elizabeth II was the queen of the United Kingdom and many other countries for over 70 years. She was the longest-serving queen in British history, ruling 32 different nations during her time. She passed away in 2022 at the age of 96.
Elizabeth was born in London in 1926. As a young girl, she learned about history, music, and languages. She loved horses and dogs. When she was just 25, she became queen after her father, King George VI, passed away.
During her long reign, Elizabeth visited many places around the world. She met people from all walks of life and celebrated many special events, including her Silver, Golden, Diamond, and Platinum jubilees. She remained a beloved figure, respected for her sense of duty and kindness.
Elizabeth married Prince Philip, and they had four children: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward. Her family was an important part of her life, and she took part in many events with them throughout her reign.
