Flag Football

Flag football is a fun and safe way to play a game like football. Instead of tackling, players pull a flag or flag belt off the person with the ball. This makes the game friendly and fun for everyone.

People all around the world enjoy flag football. It started in America during a difficult time called World War II. Back then, it was called “Touch and Tail football.” Now, it is loved by many and even will be part of the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. This will be the first time any kind of football joins the Olympics.

Flag football has many teams and big competitions every year. The International Federation of American Football helps run these games around the world. There are special events just for women too, like those run by the International Woman’s Flag Football Association.

Children can play flag football in schools and clubs. It is a great way to stay active, have fun, and make new friends. The game can be played on grass or even on sand at the beach! No matter where you play, flag football is all about having fun and being safe.
