Back then, it was called “Touch and Tail football.” Now, it is loved by many and even will be part of the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. This will be the first time any kind of football joins the Olympics.

Flag football has many teams and big competitions every year. The International Federation of American Football helps run these games around the world. There are special events just for women too, like those run by the International Woman’s Flag Football Association.
