Harvard Yard is a special place in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is the oldest and most famous part of Harvard University. Many important buildings and spaces are here.

You can find freshman dormitories, big libraries like Widener Library, and Memorial Church. There is also a statue of John Harvard and many gates around the Yard.

The Yard began in the 1600s and now covers a big grassy area. It is a busy place where students and visitors enjoy special events and learn together.
