Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos is a famous businessman from the United States. He is best known for starting Amazon, the world's biggest online store and a leader in cloud computing.

Bezos was born on January 12, 1964, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He grew up in Houston and Miami. After finishing school at Princeton University, he worked in banking before starting Amazon in 1994.

Amazon began as an online bookstore in a garage. Today, it sells almost everything and offers services like video streaming and artificial intelligence. Bezos also started Blue Origin, a company that works on space travel. In 2015, Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket flew up and landed safely. Bezos even flew with it in 2021!

Besides Amazon, Bezos owns The Washington Post newspaper and helps many good causes. He has given money to help people without homes, schools, and the environment.

Bezos loves space and science. He even helped bring back old rocket parts from the ocean for museums! His story shows how one idea can grow into something amazing.
