Jurupa Valley is a friendly city in Riverside County, California. It is found near many other places, like Eastvale, Norco, and Riverside. The city is made up of nine neighborhoods, such as Mira Loma, Rubidoux, and Pedley.

The area has a long history. Long ago, Native American tribes lived there. Later, it became part of a place called Rancho Jurupa, a land grant from Mexico in 1838. The name “Jurupa” comes from an old Native American village.

In 2011, people in the area voted to become a city, and Jurupa Valley officially started on July 1, 2011. It was the newest city in California until 2024.

Jurupa Valley has many places to explore, like parks and golf courses. The Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center is a fun spot to learn about nature. The city also has good schools, such as Jurupa Valley High School, Rubidoux High School, and Patriot High School.

People can travel easily with buses from the Riverside Transit Agency or trains at the Jurupa Valley/Pedley station. The city is close to big roads like Interstate 15 and California State Route 60.
